Specific Heat of Common Fluids and Liquids
Specific heat is a unit that is the amount of heat required to change temperature of one kilogram of a substance by one degree. Specific heat can be measured by two ways. One is kJ/kg K or Btu/lboF. The first formula stands for 1 joule/kilogram/Kelvin. The second formula is 1 Btu/pound/Fahrenheit. Different materials have different specific heat. Below is a diagram showing different specific heats of fluids and liquids.
